Gulf of Saint-Tropez airport awarded Safety 1st Clean label for pandemic management

In recognition of the efforts made by the Var airport operator, the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has awarded it its Safety 1st Clean label. In dozens of criteria, it covers all the health recommendations established by the public authorities, and represents the best practices of the profession.

At the beginning of the year, Nice Côte d’Azur airport had already obtained ACI Health Accreditation certification, developed for the world’s largest airports. Now it’s the turn of Golfe de Saint-Tropez airport to obtain recognition for the excellence of its health policy, based on criteria adapted to the size of the airport and the requirements of its customers.

The label was awarded after examination of dozens of criteria, ranging from cleaning and disinfection of buildings, equipment and personnel, to the introduction of appropriate measures to ensure compliance with barrier procedures within the terminal, and the awareness and training of employees in appropriate measures to combat the spread of the virus.

This certification is important for the Golfe de Saint-Tropez airport, as it is for the entire Groupe des Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, as the fight against the pandemic concerns both commercial and business aviation. As an airport operator, our mobilization cannot be variable. It’s our responsibility to our region, and a prerequisite for the resumption of air traffic. “explains Franck Goldnadel, Chairman of the Board of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur.
