When you arrive at the airport, to ensure your safety and that of other passengers, you will be subject to strict regulations. This includes the transportation of your hold baggage. Here are a few tips to help you prepare for your trip and facilitate the airport security screening process.

Not permitted in the hold:
- Explosives, ammunition, firecrackers…
- Gases
- Corrosive substances, oxidizers, irritants (bleach…)
- Flammable liquids, solids or gases (white spirit, butane, etc.)
- Radioactive materials
- Magnetic masses
- Toxic products, poison.
All hold baggage must be labelled with your name.
We advise you to keep your photographic film and medication in your cabin baggage.

When you pass through the security checkpoint, you have access to a locker service to prevent the destruction of prohibited items. These will be kept at the Service Center until your next visit, depending on the terms and conditions.
The following are prohibited in the cabin (non-exhaustive list):
- Weapons emitting projectiles (firearms, harpoons, bows, etc.)
- Any imitation weapons (toys, decorations, brass knuckles on handbags, ammunition keychains, etc.)
- Martial arts weapons (nunchaku, katana, tonfa …)
- Blades larger than 6cm are systematically removed.
- Blades measuring less than 6cm may be used*, except notches and bare blades (cutters, edged weapons, etc.).
*Please note, depending on your destination, blades of any size may be removed. Ask your company for details
- Blunt objects: which can cause serious injury (golf clubs, baseball bats, petanque balls, etc.).
- Explosives, ammunition, flammable liquids and corrosive products (bombs, bleach, methylated spirits, etc.)
- Tools (ask for details or check them in)
Neutralizing or incapacitating items (tear gas, tasers, etc.)
LAG* products Liquids, gels, aerosols over 100ml or over 100g
When packing your luggage, make sure you don’t take any with you. If in doubt, don’t hesitate to check them in your hold baggage.
